NEW BUILD RESIDENTIAL
A significant residential development in Formby, Liverpool, involved ground engineering services to support the construction of 317 new homes.
The project utilised an innovative modular foundation system featuring pre-cast ground beams to expedite installation and enhance efficiency.
Over a 28-week period, approximately 12,000 linear meters of these ground beams were installed, achieving a remarkable rate of over 350 linear meters per week. Additionally, more than 2,000 piles were installed to provide robust support for the new structures, showcasing the scale of the development and the advanced engineering solutions employed.
